Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Waterwood Capital Group, LLC (“Waterwood Capital Group,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the Waterwood Capital Group portfolio dashboard and its integration with Intuit QuickBooks (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information We Collect
-
Account information. Login credentials used to access the Service and basic account details.
-
QuickBooks financial data. When you connect your QuickBooks account, we access financial information through Intuit’s API — such as accounts, transactions (journal entries, deposits, purchases, transfers, invoices, and payments), and report data — as authorized by you.
-
Contact information. If you submit our contact form, we collect the name, email, company, and message you provide.
-
Technical data. Standard log and session information generated when you use the Service.
2. How We Use Information
-
to authenticate you and provide access to the Service;
-
to retrieve, process, and display your portfolio and cash-flow information;
-
to cache data so dashboards load quickly and remain available;
-
to respond to inquiries you send us; and
-
to maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
3. QuickBooks Data
We access your QuickBooks data only with your authorization and only to provide the features of the Service. We store retrieved financial data and the access tokens needed to connect to your QuickBooks company in our database. We do not use your QuickBooks data for advertising, and we do not sell it. You may disconnect QuickBooks at any time from within the Service or via your Intuit account, which stops further data retrieval.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell or rent your information. We may share information only: (a) with service providers who help us operate the Service and who are bound to protect it; (b) when required by law or to protect our legal rights; or (c) with your consent.
5. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third-party providers, including Intuit (QuickBooks) for financial data and Google reCAPTCHA to protect our contact form from abuse. Your interactions with these providers are also governed by their respective privacy policies.
6. Data Storage and Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information, including encrypted connections and restricted access to stored credentials and tokens. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your data, or disconnect QuickBooks to stop further data collection, at any time.
8. Your Choices
-
disconnect your QuickBooks account at any time;
-
request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information; and
-
contact us with any privacy questions or concerns.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
